My New Years resolution is to update my blog somewhat frequently. I too want to blog our days as unschoolers.

Hannah, my second born is flying to New York to visit a very good friend. She is excited, I'm excited for her. Two days away. I will be getting up at 4:00 am to take her to the airport. Hopefully a nap will come later before I go to work at 4:00 pm. Elizabeth will miss her terribly. In fact she won't know what to do with herself actually. The two girls are almost twins in age and emotional ties.

Hannah can string a long a short conversation in Japanese. Accent and all. She is such a bright kid! She spends her days reading, drawing and watching DVD's.

Elizabeth, is going to go to the Coroner's office with dad soon. She may get the opportunity to have an appreticeship if she likes it. She is interested in forensics. She likes the detective side of it, not the autopsy side.

Bo received a set of magnets for Christmas. He spends his time playing with those and playing his new games for the PC and GameCube.

Hope, she has a new bucket of dinosaurs to make patterns with and sort. I also bought her a scale in which to weigh them. When I say bucket of dinosaurs, I mean BIG bucket of dinosaurs.

Naomi has a slide and climb from "little Tikes." It fills the livingroom for the moment. She loves climbing and sliding. She is an active little girl. Copies everyone. We have to be careful what we do in front of her.
