"Christ is Risen!! Truly He is Risen!!"
A Glorious Pascha it was!! I had to work until 9:00pm Saturday night, so we left the house at 12:15am Sunday morning and got there as the Paschal Liturgy was beginning. I figured I needed to rest a little before going, as I had already been on my feet for eight hours at Hobby Lobby.
Naomi did wonderfully! She was bright eyed and bushy tailed the entire time. When we slipped in, we found vacant seats in the middle of the Church. The crowd had thinned by 12:30 am.
It was beautiful!! Some people had their candles burning way after the Liturgy ended at 2:30am. Their candles were lit still in the refreshment line!
Naomi fell at 2:30 am, she was seriously tired, so we left then. Hope had a plate of fruit of all things, Hannah and I were too tired to eat.
We fell into bed at 3:15am, and had a good night's sleep.
Today has been a fun family day. We were treated to Steak n Shake by daddy for lunch. We all actually got our own milk shakes!! Naomi loved it!! She loves french fries, they have the best!! It was all four girls, Bo was at a friend's house for the weekend.
We then went to the mall to return a shirt to the Gap. Hope and Naomi had a ride on the Carousel. Naomi wasn't too sure...I wasn't too sure...it went faster than I expected, I got a little "sea sick." The lady stopped the carousel for Naomi and I to find a seat in the carriage. Naomi didn't like the up and down movement of the horses. Hope loved it!!
We picked up Bo from his best friend's house. He is burnt from swimming, but happy. As always he had a good time! They are a fun family, always on the move.
I have a big opening at Havens this week. Betsy Havens the former owner will be showing her paintings and her husband's this week. It will probably be a hectic week getting ready for the show. I finally found my artsy, black attire for the show.
Well, have a blessed week, Bright Week etc...
